Jelly Roll Says 'Because of My Felonies' Can't Book an International Tour

The 39-year-old country musician told Interview Magazine that his past legal issues are why he's "not yet" traveled worldwide.

"I'm thrilled to perform abroad. We're resolving legal issues for me to travel abroad "explained Jelly.

"It’s funny, America has finally agreed to let me leave and give me a passport, but some countries won’t let me come because of my felonies," said the Grammy winner. "Working on it. I expect it will benefit me."

Jelly told Bon Jovi, "For the record I’m a kid from Antioch, Tennessee, whose father never left the southeastern region until he was in his 50s."

"I still have friends in Antioch who have never left," stated "Need a Favor" act. Watching the Titans on Sundays is their only football experience downtown.

You know the stadium is 18 minutes away, right? We can buy a $10 ticket."

The artist, born Jason Bradley DeFord, has served 40 narcotics sentences.

Two years after his first arrest at 14, he was charged with aggravated robbery as an adult and served almost a year in jail and seven years on probation.
