Rookie stars Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese are more than simply opponents.

Before their first WNBA game, rookies Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese were in top form.   

Clark, the logo-3 shooting heavyweight, finished with a packed stat line with 30 career-best points and 42.8% shooting in a loss to the Los Angeles Sparks on Tuesday.   

In a loss to Seattle the same night, Reese, the collegiate double-double queen, had her first professional double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds.  

Reese's Chicago Sky (3-3) may have No. 3 overall draft pick Kamilla Cardoso back from injury to make her pro debut on Saturday (CBS, 12 p.m. ET) in the first of four games this season.  

Clark's Indiana Fever (1-8) This is the first game of the simplified Commissioner's Cup, a $500,000. in-season competition.
